Terms & Conditions

ACRE Airport Parking outline the following procedures:

If you need to amend or cancel your booking, please email info@acreairportparking.co.uk.

Please check all booking details on receipt of confirmation. ACRE Airport Parking cannot be held responsible if clients do not advise any amendments required.

For cancellations, please include your name, car details, and details of required changes.

Bookings

1.1 Bookings through the ACRE website are deemed to be made when validated by confirmation Email.

1.2 Bookings made by telephone are deemed to be made when confirmed by telesales operator.

1.3 Bookings cannot be made by post.

1.4 All services are subject to availability.

1.5 ACRE reserve the right not to accept or fulfil a booking.

1.6 Late charges: for customers who are delayed through fault or non-fault will be charged £5 per day upon return. Full payment is required before the car is handed back to customer.

1.7 All same day booking will be subject to an additional £25 fee.

Payment

2.1 Booking Payments must be made online only. Card payment cannot be taken over the phone.

2.2 If a card payment is declined ACRE have the right to not fulfil your booking.

2.3 All prices include VAT and you will receive an invoice via email.

2.4 When booking and paying using an overseas card the card issuer will debit your account in your local currency at the exchange rate applicable on the date of processing. A conversion charge may be applicable.

Cancellation / Amendments

3.1 You reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time for a full refund IF it is before 48hrs of arrival.

3.2 Any cancellation made within 48hrs of arrival will be subject to a 15% admin fee to cover administration costs.

3.3 ACRE will not charge an amendment fee if the amount of the days remains the same of the original booking. There will be an extra charge if the amount of the days is more than the original booking. The charge will be the difference between the original booking plus the extra day(s) as requested by the customer.

Your Statutory rights are not affected.

Parking

4.1 ACRE Airport Parking liability is as bailee to take reasonable care of the Customer’s vehicle for the period commencing when the keys to the vehicle are delivered to the driver at the Airport and terminating when the customer retakes possession of the vehicle and keys.

4.2 The customer must inspect their vehicle prior to ACRE Airport Parking staff or the customer leaving the airport premises. Acre will not take any responsibility for any claims made after this time.

4.3 Upon arriving at the airport Acre Airport Parking staff will happily check the vehicle condition with the customer and fill out a vehicle conduction form upon request at an extra £5 charge.

4.4 Each vehicle will be photographed for the company and customers benefit at the time of collection and return to eliminate false claims being made. All Photos taken will be deleted within 30 days of the parking contract ending unless a complaint is made.

4.5 Any Customer wishing to reclaim his vehicle prior to expiry of the agreed parking period will be liable to pay the parking fee for the whole of the agreed parking period.

4.6 Acre Airport Parking shall keep the vehicle at the premises of one of its authorised secure parking sites, during the time the vehicle is parked it will be at the owner’s risk and only be covered by their insurance. The Customer authorises ACRE Airport Parking to drive the vehicle between authorised secure parking sites and the Airport being covered by ACRE Airport Parking’s Insurance while being driven on the public highway.

4.7 It is the duty of the Customer to ensure that the vehicle is in a proper roadworthy condition prior entering on to public highway.

4.8 In the unlike event of any damage occurring in ACRE Airport Parking’s possession the customer is obligated to get 3 written detailed quotes for repairs prior to ACRE authorising payment for repair work.

4.9 ACRE Airport Parking has no contractual obligation while the customers vehicle is being repaired to provide a curtesy car or to reimburse for any loss of earnings.

4.10 For any customers returning early ACRE Airport Parking Require a minimum of 4hours prior notice to make a vehicle available for collection. Failure to give prior notice ACRE Airport Parking will not accept any liability for delay to return the customers vehicle.

4.11 ACRE Airport Parking will not release a vehicle to any third party without prior written instruction from the customer.

4.12 Upon Return each customer must supply return receipt to prove the vehicle is owned by them and ACRE Airport Parking staff can and will at any time request photo Identification to prove this.

4.13 ACRE Airport Parking will not accept any liability for any electrical or mechanical faults that occur whilst in their possession and remains solely the customers responsibility.

Customer Liability

5.1 The customer is liable to make sure that the vehicle presented to ACRE Airport Parking staff is in road legal condition and safe for our staff to drive.

5.2 The customer is also responsible for making sure there are no dangerous toxic or illegal substances have been left within the vehicle.

5.3 The Customer shall be liable for and indemnify ACRE Airport Parking in respect of any death, personal injury or damage caused by the Customer or any person with the Customer in anyway arising from a breach of the warranty in paragraph 5.1 and 5.2 above.

Exclusions Of Liability

6.1 ACRE Airport Parking does not accept any liability or responsibility for any damage caused to the windscreen or any other vehicle glass.

6.2 ACRE Airport Parking does not accept any liability or responsibility for any theft, loss or damage to personal property or loose items within the vehicle whilst on our premises.

6.3 ACRE Airport Parking does not accept any liability or responsibility for any damage caused to tyres on the vehicle.

Complaints

7.1 All complaints need to be made in writing via email within 7 working days from the end of the parking contract date.

7.2 ACRE Airport Parking will acknowledge via email the receipt of the customers complaint and will respond within 14 working days of receipt of the complaint.

7.3 ACRE Airport Parking will endeavour to resolve all complaints with 30 days so long as there are no delays in getting any additional information as requested from the customer.

7.4 ACRE Airport Parking also reserve the right to be able to inspect any vehicle prior to any repair works are agreed or carried out.
